The PDP has won three of the five House of Representatives seats so far declared in Imo in the aftermath of Saturday’s National Assembly elections held nationwide.
The Resident Electoral Commissioner in the state, Prof. Celina Oko, announced in Owerri yesterday that APGA won the two other federal constituencies.
Oko said the PDP won in Mbaitoli/Ikeduru with 3,2391 votes; Isu/Njaba/Nwangele/Nkwere with 2,3108 votes and Oru West/Ohaji/Egbema/Oguta with 41,092.
APGA won in Ideato North/Ideato South with 17,057 votes and in Owerri Federal Constituency with 22,028 votes, the REC said.
The results of the senatorial elections and four other federal constituencies are being awaited as election in Okigwe Federal Constituency was postponed by INEC.
