An Action Congress of Nigeria, ACN, chieftain in Ayobo/Ipaja Local Council Development Area, LCDA, of Lagos State, Southwest Nigeria, Prince Owen Alao Adeniran, says he was impressed with the turnout of voters for last Saturday’s National Assembly elections in the state.
Adeniran said this shortly after casting his vote beside his residence in Ipaja. He enjoined ACN voters to keep up the tempo and repeat the mass turn out and victory of ACN candidates in subsequent elections in the state and the Federal Capital.
He applauded Governor Babatunde Raji Fashola of Lagos State, describing him as an epitome of success and diligence whose leadership qualities in terms of infrastructure development will always be a reference point.
While urging voters to abide by the rules of one-man-one-vote and follow the guidelines of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC. He also urged them to conduct themselves in an orderly manner, while carrying out their civic responsibility so that free, fair, credible and peaceful elections can be achieved in the state. He called on youths to resist any attempt to be used as political thugs in the elections.
