Less than three weeks after the unfortunate fire incident that gutted the prestigious Balmoral Events Centre, Oregun, Lagos, the facility is back in business. This time, with a big bang.
The new marquee now wears a more plush look with fire proof materials fully fitted in.
Speaking with journalists yesterday, Ezekiel Adamu, CEO, Balmoral thanked various clients and friends who show love and support after the inferno.
He said as part of measure to prevent such unfortunate incident in future, the management of the event place has established a working relationship with Lagos State Safety Commission that was just established by the administration of Governor Babatunde Fashola.
Adamu added that they are also working with Lagos State Fire Service on various ideas on how to curb such inferno in the future.
“We’ve fitted a lot of safety equipment in place such as Water Hydrant, Water Sprinkler, Smoke Alert, Fire Masher, Lot Extinguishers. I believe all of this and by the special grace of God, we will be able to avert such incident in the future,†he assured.
