Lagos Mainland ACN Chieftain Loses Wife

Mrs. Adebimpe Adedoyin Ademoye, the wife of Mr. Adekunle Ademoye, a chieftain of Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN) in Lagos Mainland Local Government Area of Lagos State, is dead.

The deceased died last Friday at a specialist hospital in India during a cancer related illness.

Scores of sympathisers have since then been trooping to the Ebute Meta, Lagos residence of deceased to commiserate with the husband, who is a member of the Lagos State House of Assembly and Chairman, House Committee on Housing.

The late Adebimpe has been unanimously described by those who know her, as an immensely dutiful wife, who, in her lifetime, identified absolutely with the aspirations of her husband, chief among which was his political career.

They further attested to her affable disposition and exemplary humility, which endeared her to all and for which she would be sadly missed.

An obviously distraught Ademoye described her wife as a rare pearl among women, who left a vacuum that would be difficult to fill.

Meanwhile, plans are on to bring the deceased’s corpse from India, while burial arrangement would be announced later.
