The Oba-elect of Igbo Elerin in Iba Local Council Development Area of Lagos State, Alhaji Sikiru Kolawole Ajagungbade Aina, has described the victory of the Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN) across the states in last Saturday’s National Assembly elections as monumental and a pointer to the fact that political revolution was imminent.
Speaking with Lagos Bulletin yesterday, Aina hailed the people of Lagos for their support and commitment to ACN, while assuring them of better representation by the elected candidates.
He congratulated Mrs. Oluremi Tinubu, wife of former governor of Lagos State, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Senator Ganiyu Solomon and Toyin Suarau, among others, saying their victory at the polls was well deserved.
The monarch was also impressed by the large turn out of the people of Igbo Elerin during the exercise, while enjoining them to keep the tempo in subsequent elections in the state.
He thanked the Ojo Democrats Forum (ODF) for promoting good administrative conduct of the state governor, Babatunde Fashola and the chairman of Ojo Local Government Area, Mr. Murisiq Durosinmi, for his commitment on the development of the entire community.
