Chairman, Bariga Local Council Development Area of Lagos State, Akeem Omoyele Sulaimon, has called on Lagos residents to turn out en masse to cast their votes on Saturday and 26 April, noting that there was poor participation of the electorate last week.

He said they should see the election as an opportunity to choose their leaders, remarking that if they fail to turn out, the few that did so would choose their leaders for them.

Describing the outcome of Saturday’s National Assembly elections in Lagos State as the demonstration of the people’s faith in the administration of Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN), he commended the people of the state, particularly Bariga residents, for voting according to their conscience, while congratulating the winners including the wife of former governor, Mrs. Oluremi Tinubu, who won the Lagos Central Senatorial election.
