The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, has arrested two women with several wraps of cocaine concealed in a bag and private part.
The suspects, Alao Muibat Abiola, 34, and James Susan, 35, were nabbed within the week while attempting to export illicit drugs to Hong Kong and Italy.
Abiola, an international business woman and mother of two children had in her possession 2 kilogrammes of cocaine neatly hidden at the bottom of her luggage while Susan a hair stylist based in Italy inserted 300 grammes of heroin in her private part.
NDLEA said that Abiola was to board Qatar Airline flight to Hong Kong when officers detected the drugs hidden in a false bottom of her luggage which contained foodstuff.
Susan inserted 300 grammes of heroin in her private part and was detected with the aid of body scanning machines during screening of passengers on Ethiopian Airline flight to Rome enroute Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, Mr. Mitchell Ofoyeju, the NDLEA Head of Public Affairs, said this morning.
He added that the suspects will soon be charged to court.
