Asu Ikiye Embarks On World Tour

Gospel music star, Asu Ikiye, has embarked on a world tour that would take him to five European and eight American cities.

Showbiz Trends learnt that the artiste, who left the country in the last week of March, is expected to perform in the United Kingdom, Germany, The Netherlands and later move to the United States, where he will tour eight cities.

“This is long overdue world tour. It’s been facilitated by More Than Music a Boston, Massachusetts, entertainment/events outfit handling my management on the international scene.

“For me, this is a great one because I have been looking forward to this tour of a life time,” said Ikiye.

According to him, organisers of the tour wanted someone with African roots, who could express African gospel music in different parts of the world.

“Most American artistes have influenced African gospel singers but they want somebody who combines African vibes with gospel music and can display this to the world. This is the first time this is happening,” he said.
