One year after the death of rap music act, Oladapo Olaitan Olaonipekun, famously known as Dagrin, in an auto crash, fans, friends and sympathisers are set to hold a memorial party in his memory.
P.M.NEWS learnt that family members of the late Dagrin will visit his vault at Atan Cemetery to lay a wreath on his grave..
Also, the Ope Banwo led Stingomania will premiere his biopic titled Ghetto Dreamz at the Silverbird Galleria tomorrow. The film parades stars like Doris Simeon, Bianta Black, Tybson Dudukoko, Rachael Oniga, Gabriel Afolayan, Oyindamola, Jawon, Kelechi Udegbe and Pa Kasumu among others.
Speaking with P.M.NEWS this morning, Ope Banwo said that the car in which Dagrin died will also be exhibited at the same venue, after which it will be taken to the National Museum where it will be kept for future purpose.
Banwo said that apart from the car exhibition and the primiere, the film will be screened at all top rated cinema houses across the country.
Dagrin died on 22 April, 2010 at the Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH), Idi-Araba, after complications from an auto crash a week earlier.
His car rammed into a stationary truck parked in front of Alakara Police Station, Mushin, Lagos, Southwest Nigeria.
