2 Suspected Bomb Manufacturers Die In Explosion
Two persons suspected to be manufacturers of local bomb explosives died yesterday (Friday) Â in Kaduna, northwest Nigeria after they were trying to move some of the manufactured explosives from the place of production to a house near the Kaduna Legislative Quarters, Rafin-Guza in Kawo area, Kaduna.

An eye witness who gave his name as Musa Suleiman told P.M.NEWS that the bomb blast occurred close to the Legislators Quarters between 6.30pm and 7pm when Muslims were preparing to go for the Magreb,evening prayer, throwing the entire locality into great confusion.
P.M.NEWS also gathered that the Police and Airfoce patrol teams who raced to the scene arrested three other suspects at 5, Matazu Road Kawo Kaduna, where the blast occurred inside the property of Abdullahi Dan-Ama , behind Conoil filling station, Rigachikun.
The Police Public Relations Officer, Aminu Lawan who confirmed the arrest of the three suspects said they were arrested at the scene of the blast.
He disclosed that the three persons sustained serious injuries as a result of the blast.
The PPRO also said anti-bomb squad personnel deployed to the area to comb the vicinity discovered highly charged locally made bombs in vegetable oil gallons and in a steel casing.
Other arms discovered at the scene are four locally made pistols, two locally made dane guns, three machetes , one green military belt, one CPC flag, one international passport, various identity cards, CPC tags and a Honda Civic car with registration number, AZ 632 KDA.
Meanwhile, the Police Commissioner Haruna John at a press conference told newsmen that the calibre of explosives discovered at the scene are capable of causing massive destruction.
He assured the public that the police will continue to ensure safety of lives and property in the state and urged everyone to shun making statements capable of inciting violence.
