Massive turn out of voters reported in Yobe and Ogun states
More voters have trooped out for accreditation than in the previous elections in many parts of Ogun State , P.M News reporters in Ijebu-Ode, Sagamu and Abeokuta have reported.
The News Agency of Nigeria has also reported high turn out in Yobe state, with many of the National Youth Corps members also turning up to take charge of voting affairs.
But accreditation is bogged down in the Ijebu North east area, of Ogun state as corps members scheduled to conduct the election, have declared a work boycott, over non payment of allowances.
Accreditation began in earnest in many stations at 8.30 a.m and by 11. Am , more people are still trooping out to get accredited.
Voting to elect a new governor and 26 members of the state assembly will begin by noon.
