The suspect was later arrested by the police for interrogation. He was paraded yesterday at the office of the police public Relations Officer, PPRO, Lagos State Command.

Ndifreke who denied being mentally deranged, however, blamed the incident on spiritual attack from his Ikot Ibom Edem Village in Ini Local Government area of Akwa Ibom State, South South Nigeria, alleging that three of his siblings died through similar mysterious circumstances, some years ago.

He said the invisible voice might have emanated from a chief in his village.

Commenting on the suspect’s claim, the Lagos State Command PPRO, CSP Samuel Jinadu said the police do not believe in juju or vodoo.

Jinadu said the case has been transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department, Panti, Yaba, Lagos for thorough investigation at the end of which the suspect may be charged to court.
