Essence, one of the best young female voices in Nigeria, is in a gay mood now. After many years of toiling and splashing the city of Lagos on foot and jumping on yellow buses, the singer has finally bought herself a Nissan saloon car.
The rotund diva, who hit limelight with her signature voice on the Super Story, a highly successful Wale Adenuga Production series soundtrack, picked the sleek automobile a couple of weeks ago and she has since been seen around with it.
Showbiz Trends learnt that the Delta State-born singer, who dropped her new 14-track album, Truly Essence last year, was among those who participated in the campaign jingle for the newly re-elected Delta State governor, Emmanuel Uduaghan.
Meanwhile, the car, according to a source, is part of the spoils of that campaign jingle.
