Fashola's Aide Gets Award

Chief of Staff to Governor Babatunde Raji Fashola, Mr. Lanre Babalola has bagged the Distinguished Administrator of Lagos Service Award.

 

The award was giving to him by the All Christian Leaders/Ministers Forum, ACLMF in his office at the State House, Ikeja, Lagos, Southwest Nigeria.

 

The award was presented on behalf of ACLMF by Primate Michael Aniyikaye, who commended him for his contributions to a peaceful Lagos.

 

National President, ACLMF, Dr. Sam Ogedengbe said the body had observed with keen interest the mode and manner of execution of requests of various interest groups in Lagos.

“We have also seen the speed and unbiased manner of attending to the demands of the citizens and one thing is common; neutrality and promptness without fear and favour. Christian letters and memos and that of other interest groups received equal attention despite your personal belief.

 

“Our investigation revealed that the brain behind this effectiveness and efficiency is no other person than Lanre Babalola,” he said.

 

Accepting the award, Babalola said he was surprised and at the same time happy with it. “It shows that people are watching what I am doing as Chief of Staff to Fashola.

 

“I did not expect it. It shows that some people are watching and they know what you are doing,” he said.
