Man Nabbed For Assault

The police in Lagos have arraigned a man, Mr. Emeka Obidiasor before the Ikeja Magistrate’s Court, Lagos for assault.
He was arrested on 7 April at a bar in Olusosun, Ojota, Lagos, Southwest Nigeria for allegedly stabbing Mr. Benedict Odimegwu on his left hand.
The investigating police officer, Augustine Adefemi from the Alausa Police Division said the one-count charge is punishable underr Section 355 of the Criminal Code, Cap.C.917, Vol. II, Laws of Lagos State of Nigeria, 2003.
The case has been adjourned till 4 May, 2011 for continuation of trial.
