PDP Wins 21 Out Of 34 Kaduna Assembly Seats

The released results of the April 28 Kaduna House of Assembly show that the
ruling People’s Democratic Party, PDP won 21 out of the 34 seats in the state.

While the Congress for Progress Change, CPC, which secured 13 seats in the final
announced result emerged as the major opposition party in the state.

The final results made available to P.M.News Tuesday by the Public Relations Officer of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, Kaduna, Mallam Abubakar Liman show that PDP won the seats at Makarfi, Kagarko, Kudan, Kajuru, Kubau, Kachia, Sanga, Chikun and Kaura local government areas. PDP also won Zango Kataf, Lere and Giwa local government areas

The CPC on the other hand won its major seats at Zaria,Sabo-Gari,Igabi Kaduna South, Kaduna North, Soba , Birnin-Gwari, and Ikara local government areas.
With this result, PDP will continue to maintain the majority role in the house
when it convenes .

Meanwhile , the All Nigeria People’s Party presence in the house as the
minority party will cease as no ANPP member won any seat in the state .
