Police Kill 2 Robbers In Lagos

It was a bloody morning today near Festac Town, Lagos, southwest Nigeria as anti-robbery police squad killed two suspected armed robbers who attempted to snatch a car from its owner.

 

Eye witness account has it that at about 6am today, a 4-man robbery attempted to snatch a Toyota Corolla car with registration number FR 131 SR from the owner.

 

The incident occurred at Abule Ado near Festac Town, where the robbers were alleged to have shot the owner of the car on the leg, while attempting to snatch it.

 

Luck however ran out on them as anti-robbery police officers ly arrived the place and engaged the robbers in a bloody shoot out, killing two while the remaining two escaped with bullet wounds.

 

The car owner, whose identity could not be ascertained at the time of filing this report, was taken by the police to Havana hospital where is is said to be receiving treatment.

 

Samuel Jinadu, when contacted claimed he was not aware of the incident, even as police sources at Festac Police Station confirmed the incident on phone to P.M.NEWS this morning.
