The INEC Resident Electoral Commissioner, REC, Dr. Kunle Ogunmola issued the certificate of return to Fashola today at its state headquarters at Yaba, Lagos, Southwest Nigeria.

According to Ogunmola, the certificate of return issued to the governor showed that he actually won the last governorship election in the state.

He, however, scored INEC high for conducting smooth polls devoid of violence and acrimony in Lagos .

“We thank God for the elections and from the comments of people, we have done creditably well. We score ourselves very high,” he said.
