Mark Mourns Katsina Alu’s Wife

Senate President David Mark has commiserated with the Chief Justice of Nigeria,(CJN) Justice Aloysius Katsina Alu over the death of his wife, Victoria Mimi Alu.

A statement issued on Monday in Abuja by Mr. Paul Mumeh, Chief Press Secretary to Mark, said the Senate President sympathised with government and people of Benue over the unfortunate demise.

The statement said that Mark decried the death of Mrs. Katsina Alu especially at this time when her supportive hands were needed to assist her husband steer the ship of the judiciary.

“The death of Mrs. Katsina Alu at this time is unfortunate and painful. The sudden death was shocking and truly devastating.

“I share in this pain. It is an irreparable loss. I pray her gentle soul rest in the bosom of the Lord,” Mark said in the statement.

It said that Mark prayed for the repose of the soul of the deceased and urged the bereaved to take solace in the fact that she lived an eventful life worthy of emulation.
