‘Niger Are Inexperienced Team’

Captain of Niger Republic, Abdoulaye Moussa has confessed that his teammates lack experience to play in the WAFU Cup.

Moussa told P.M.Sports that Niger are a young team that came to the competition to garner experience. Niger Republic crashed out in the tournament after losing their two matches in Group A.

“We are not disgraced because we came to the competition to learn football from big countries like Nigeria and Ghana . It was a good tournament and I believe that we will play better in the next edition,” he said.

He admitted that Liberia have more experienced players than them, but blamed his teammates for not converting their chances.

In his own remark, Niger Coach, Brah Taher corroborated what the team captain said that Niger, as a country, is passing through a rebuilding process, adding that Niger will be better before the next edition.
