The sacked Vice Chancellor of the University of Ado-Ekiti, Prof Dipo Kolawole has been accused of mismanaging at least N4.9 billion generated by the school authorities between 2009 and May 2011.

The auditors also claimed that the university is owing the state government N1.6 billion tax deducted from the staff salaries and from contracts awarded in the school.

The panel alleged that the N4.9 billon was generated between 2009 and May 2011 when Prof. Kolawole who was sacked last week was in charge of the affairs of the university.
