Ghana striker, Adams Sadick believes that the defeat his team suffered in the hands of home-based Eagles in the semi final was as a result of bad officiating.
Sadicks who predicted the fall of Eagles against Togo in the final told P.M.Sports that his team would have won the match against Nigeria in the semi final if the officiating was fair.
Ghana lost 1-2 to Nigeria when Ekigho Ehiosun scored a brace to send Ghana out of the tournament in the semi final that stretched to extra time
“I won’t congratulate Nigeria because they were not better than us. We first scored them and play well but it was towards the second half that the referee was biased against us. When we could not bear it, we lost concentration and conceded the second goal which was very painful,†he said.
Sadicks who plys his trade with Etoile Du Sahel of Tunisia said his teammates were impressive against Nigeria.
“We were not disgraced at all; had it been we went into penalty shootout, we would have won the encounter,†he said.
