The Chairman, Agbado/Oke-Odo Local Council Development Area, Lagos State, southwest Nigeria, Pastor Kenny Olu Okunmuyde has donated a post-office block and the sum of N500,000 to the Elders Forum of the LCDA.

Speaking during the presentation, Pastor Kenny, as he is fondly called, said it is in fulfilment of the promises the administration made to the people of the local government. He promised to do more so that the people can enjoy the full dividends of democracy.

The council boss also promised to provide additional transformers to boost electricity supply, saying nothing is too big as far as it is for the well-being of the electorate.

Okunmuyide promised the Community Development Associations the sum of N100,000 as take-off grant for some of the projects the CDAs have embarked upon. A Certificate of Registration and recognition was also presented to the Elders Forum.

Present at the event were Oba Suberu Odu Alaba, the Alagbe of Ajasaland and other traditional rulers in Agbado Oke-Odo community and its environs.

A member of Agbado Oko-Odo community said the people of Agbado Oke-Odo are proud to have a man like him at the helm of affairs in the council.

“We are truly proud of Pastor Kenny because he has executed many laudable projects in our community. We are enjoying good roads, we have water and electricity is now stable because of the transformers he gave to us and he has also promised us more transformers. What else can we ask for? Now he has given us a post-office. We can only pray for God to give him more grace.”
