These were the words of Damilola Taylor Coach, Sulaiman Ahmed, while addressing his players ahead of the final match slated for Sunday at the Onikan Stadium, Lagos Island, where Damilola Taylor will confront Jokers Stars Football Club of Lagos Island.
To reach the final Stage, Damilola Taylor humbled Alaro FC 3-2 while Jokers Stars defeated Ajah Babes 4-2 on penalty shootout after a barren draw at regulation time. The match was played at the Oshodi Sports Centre.
Ahmed is now talking tough ahead of the crucial final encounter. He boasted that Jokers Stars are in trouble and there is no hiding place for them when both teams clash on Sunday. He urged the players to play attacking football in order to get early goals and demoralise their opponents in the encounter.
“It is going to be a massive blow for us if we lose to our opponents on Sunday. We have come a long way and it is high time we won the cup for our fans who have been supporting us since the competition started a month ago,†he said.
The cup donor, who is also the chairman, Abuoloto Investment, congratulated both teams for reaching the final and added that the best team will win the final.
