Disu Tips F/Eagles For Glory

Flying Eagles coach to Saudi ‘89 FIFA World Youth Championship, WYC, Tunde Disu, believes that the coach John Obuh-led U-20 team have what it takes to win the Colombia 2011 WYC.

Speaking with P.M.Sports at the National Stadium, Surulere, Lagos, Nigeria, Disu, who is the Technical Director of the Lagos Junuor League, said that the present crop of Flying Eagles players can repeat the feat of the Saudi ‘89 squad and the Holland 2005 set led by Samson Siasia.

In his words, the new team can go all the way to the final of the WYC and even win the trophy.

“I think with adequate training, and commitment from the players, the coaching staff and support from the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, Obuh and his team can win the WYC in Colombia,” said Disu.
