Group Congratulates Fashola, Seeks Ministry

The Lagos State Coordinator of Renewed Life Foundation for the Disabled in Nigeria, Comrade Ojo Bamidele, has sent a congratulatory message to the Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Babatunde Raji Fashola, on his re-election into office for another four years mandate.

The disabled group in a press statement made available to Political Platform, also congratulated the Deputy Governor-elect, Mrs. Adejoke Orelope-Adefulire and all ACN elected legislators in the state and other southwest states.

The group stated that the wining streak of the ACN in the Southwest has again demonstrated the quality of leadership of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the preferred leader of the Yoruba in Nigeria.

The coordinator, a lecturer and an ACN chieftain in Ojokoro Local Council Development Area, also congratulated the House of Representatives member-elect for Ifako-Ijaiye Federal Constituency, Otunba Yomi Ogunnusi and the re-elected state House of Assembly members fof Ifako-Ijaiye Constituency 01/02, Hon. Ahmed Ipoola Omisore and Hon. Saka Fafunmi on their landslide victory at the poll.

He said the performance of Governor Fashola in the last four years had shown that Lagos will surely witness more development in his next term in office.

He urged Lagosians to continue to pray for the governor and his team as they continue in their plan to make Lagos a megacity.

He, however, appealed to the govenor to always consider the disabled in his development programmes.

He advised that a ministry be created for the disabled, while someone from the constituency should be appointed to oversee the it, adding that such a development will make the disabled in Lagos an integral part of government in the state.
