PRICE OF ADULTERY: Housewife, Lover Found Dead After Sex Romp
Tragedy struck yesterday at 2, Temi Adara Street, off Liasu Road, Egbe, Lagos Southwest, Nigeria, when a housewife and her married lover died during a sex romp in a restaurant.
The victims were identified as Suleman whose wife put to bed a month ago and a housewife simply known as Funmilayo who was married to another man, but worked in the restaurant owned by his lover, Suleman.
P.M.NEWS gathered that they were found dead inside the restaurant and Suleman was on top of Funmilayo when the door to their room was forced open. Both of them were naked, giving the impession that they might have been engrossed in love making when they died.
They were found dead in the morning after the neighbours forced the door open when they suspected that the lovers had not opened the resturant.
Doctors are yet to determine the cause of their death as at the time of filing this report, but the neighbours suspected that they might have been inflicted with magun, a popular local charm that husbands place on their adulterous wives and believed to kill men that have sex with such women.
Some residents believe this because according to them, after they were found dead, the man’s penis was still turgil while blood flowed from the woman’s vagina.
Others suspected that they might have inhaled the smoke from the generating set they switched on while they were making love.
P.M.NEWS gathered that Suleman owned the restaurant where the incident happened and decided to engage the services of Funmi, as she was popularly called, who was also his lover even though she was married to another man.
On the day the incident happened, it was learnt that Suleman informed his wife that he would not return home. His wife also confirmed this at the police station where the matter was reported. She was seen waiting at the police station when P.M.NEWS visited the station yesterday.
The deceased lovers reportedly slept in the restaurant after the day’s business and the next day, they were found dead.
The matter was reported at Ikotun Police Station and policemen went to the restaurant and took their bodies to the station. The bodies were later deposited at the Isolo General Hospital mortuary while waiting autopsy report.
When P.M.NEWS visited the station, the DPO was not around to comment on the matter. But a police source at the station confirmed the incident, saying their bodies have been deposited at the mortuary at Isolo.
When P.M.NEWS also visited the scene of the incident, the residents were in mournful mood and some shops were shut.
Residents also expressed shock at what happened and prayed that God should forgive them.
