Abaranje Residents Appeal To Fashola Over Road
Residents of Abaranje in Igando-Ikotun Local Council Development Area of Lagos State have called on both the state and local governments to come to their aid by rehabilitating the road leading to the palace of the town’s monarch.
Speaking on their behalf, the traditional ruler, Chief Hassan Lamidi, stated that the entire community is particular about the construction of the road, which also serves as link to other roads in the area.
He congratulated Governor Babatunde Fashola, his running mate and all elected Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN) candidates over their victory in the just concluded elections.
According to him, “the governor’s victory had shown that Lagosians wanted effective democracy and continued transformation of the state.
While also thanking the people of Abaranje for voting en masse for ACN and their support during and after the elections, the monarch, however, pleaded for the approval of letter of his upgrading already sbmitted to the Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, by the state government for the town to record more development.
