Imbibe Spirit Of Philanthropy, Muslims Urged
Muslims in the country have been enjoined to imbibe the spirit of philanthropy as it would engender love, peace and growth of any community.
The charge was made by Sheikh Muhammed Sa’eed Abolaji Alasela, at the convocation and awards ceremony of Qur’an Majeed Islamic Society of Nigeria (QUMSON), held recently in Lagos.
According to the cleric, “it is time for Muslims across the country to embark on programmes that will benefit both Muslim and non Muslim communities. We should begin to complement government’s efforts in the areas of health and education by providing health facilities in our hospitals or the needy and education materials to our schools for the benefit of all.â€
