LASU Suspends 5 Suspected Cultists

Authorities of Lagos State University (LASU), have approved the indefinite suspension five students suspected to be cult members.

The students were apprehended at an isolated place close to the Ogunlewe exit gate of the university recently.

They were, however, accused of gross misconduct and abduction of a fellow student who was mercilessly beaten.

Campus Square gathered that the students have been barred and advised not to be seen within the premises of the institution except on invitation by the Students Disciplinary Committee for further investigation or interrogation.

In a similar event, two young men in possession of a pistol and charms were recently nabbed by the security personnel of the university, but they are not students of the institution. They have, however, been handed over to the police.
