The arrest followed a raid last Sunday at Ido Motor Park, Oyingbo Railway Terminal and NNPC Ejigbo in Lagos State, South West Nigeria.

The Lagos State Commander of the NDLEA, Alhaji Aliyu Sule, disclosed that the suspects include 28-year old Gambo Amadu who was nabbed with 90.3 kilogrammes of drugs, Fidelis Mike, 19, who was apprehended with 7.35 kilogrammes of drugs and 22-year old Diana Gabriel who was caught with 25 kilogrammes of the illicit drugs.

The NDLEA Head of Public Affairs, Mr. Mitchell Ofoyeju, who issued the statement, did not specify the type of drugs seized from the suspects, but in the past, cannabis has been seized in those same areas.
