He said, “as the oldest secondary school in the country , the schoolâ€
“As God would have it, the Bola Tinubu administration saw the consequences of political misadventure and in 2001 reversed the decision and returned the school to the Anglican Mission,” he added.
Rev. Tunde Oduwole, the principal of the school, said CMS has recorded a lot of achievements.
The principal went further to say that, the school choir won the Gold trophy after coming first in the Shell Choral Competition for secondary schools in Nigeria. “One of our boys, Efehi Idubor, was one of the six choir boys selected from Nigeria to sing in the Africa Sings music fiesta in Switzerland, Ghana etc,†he stated.
Rev. Oduwole said the long line-up of successful old boys in different facets of life, as well as the current facilities, are sure indices that the old traditions are still being maintained and potential for growth very high.
