A jilted man, Anthony Nwagbo, who resides in Ajegunle, Apapa, Lagos, has been stabbed for demanding a refund of all the money he spent on his estranged lover, Mary Okoh. Mary had dumped him for another man.
He told Mary to refund the money he spent on her while their relationship lasted since she was the person who was no more interested in the relationship.
Anthony, who is a businessman, claimed that he has spent so much money on Mary, with the understanding that she would marry him.
He said that he was shocked when she dropped him for another man after she secured a bank job.
But Mary, while confirming Anthony’s demand, said she should not have asked for refund because she rendered him services before she decided to quit.
This brought serious quarrel between them.
P.M.NEWS gathered that Mary contacted his younger brother, Emeka, who allegedly joined his sister to attack Anthony with a broken bottle.
The victim was also allegedly stabbed on the back of his neck.
He was rushed to Apapa General Hospital where he is now receiving treatment.
Mary and her brother, Emeka, have been arrested and charged to the Apapa magistrate court for assault.
