According to Jinadu, unknown to Israel that the police had laid ambush for him, he was caught re-handed by the men of SARS while attempting to drive the car away.

He was taken to his house at Udu Moses Close, Lape, Ibeju Lekki wheer eight other stolen vehicles were discovered.

When he was paraded, Israel told journalists that he did not steal those vehicles as police claimed.

He explained that the alleged stolen vehicles were parked in his house by his friend he identified as Peter who is on the run.

Lamenting about his predicament, Israel said that Peter told him that he was an importer and he used to import those vehicles from abroad.

He said he got to know that the vehicle were actually stolen when Peter refused to show up following his arrest.
