An angry woman simply known as Joy has dragged her enstranged lover, Sunday Agboola to a Lagos court where he was ordered to be remanded in Kirikiri Prison after she discovered he obtained sex from her under false pretence.
Sunday was alleged to have lied to Joy that he is a senior naval officer whereas he is a labourer.
Joy claimed that Sunday told her that he was a naval officer and she gave in to his deceit only to discover later he was a labourer at Tejuosho Market in Yaba, Lagos State, Southwest Nigeria.
P.M.NEWS gathered that Sunday approached Joy in their area at Ijora Badia, Apapa, Lagos and they engaged in a relationship which lasted only five months.
Sunday, however, told P.M.NEWS that it was because he did not give the money she requested that she was making trouble with him.
Angered by his action, she went to Ijora Police Station and reported that Sunday has paraded himself as a military officer.
He was arrested and charged to Apapa Magistrate’s Court for impersonation.
When he was arraigned in court, he pleaded not guilty to the charge.
The presiding Magistrate, Mrs. A. K. Shonubi granted him bail in the sum of N20,000 with one surety.
He was remanded in prison custody until he meets the bail condition, while the matter was adjourned till 16 June 2011.
