‘No More Smuggling In Seme Command’

The new Customs Area Comptroller, CAC, Seme Command, Alhaji Sahabi Sadiq Abubakar, has declared a total war on smuggling in his territory.

Speaking with members of the Maritime Reporters Congress of Nigeria, MARCON, at Seme the Comptroller added that all officers and men of the command have been warned not to collaborate with smugglers, and those caught will be shown the way out of the service.

According to the CAC, any act that would be detrimental to the national objective would not be acceptable to the command.

Sadiq stated that the patrol team of the command would be better equipped to reduce smuggling level to zero. The CAC also warned smugglers to stop smuggling or be ready to face the consequences.

The Comptroller seized the opportunity to appeal to importers, exporters and their agents to always genuinely declare their goods.
