U. D. Almeria of Spain bound midfielder and member of the Flying Eagles that conquered the African continent, Azeez Ramon, says the team have what it takes to shock the world at the Colombia 2011 World Youth Championship.

The WYC is scheduled to kick off next month and Azeez believes that the team have what it takes to equal the feat recorded by their West Africa neighbours, the Black Satellites of Ghana at the Egypt 2009 edition of the WYC.

In a chat on a social networking site with P.M Sports, from the team’s Somitel Hotel camp in Port Harcourt, Azeez said the technical crew is working round the clock to ensure that the team is well prepared for junior World Cup.

According to him: “We are going to the World Cup with the aim of winning it; we are not going there to complete the number but to make a statement, it is our determination and winning the trophy is our aim”.
