For denying him sex in a hotel room when he needed it most, a man, Chamberlain Opara has battered his lover, Joy Frank in Apapa, Lagos State, Nigeria.
Opara was alleged to have beaten Joy mercilessly inside Embassy Hotel, Olodi. Apapa, Lagos, Southwest Nigeria for denying him sex.
She reportedly sustained severe injuries in the process.
They had gone to the popular hotel for a night out before Joy changed her mind not to have sex with him, P.M.NEWS gathered.
It was not clear why Joy suddenly backed out.
Sources told P.M.NEWS that she was considerably entertained by Opara before they finally checked into the chalet.
Opara could not bear it after he had already paid for the chalet and prepared his mind for sex before Joy refused inside the room.
Angered by her action, Opara reportedly beat her and destroyed her handset before the hotel staff rescued her and rushed her to a hospital where she was revived and treated.
The matter was reported to the police and Opara was arrested and charged to Apapa Magistrate’s court for assault under section 351of the criminal code 2003.
He pleaded not guilty to the charge.
The presiding magistrate Mrs A. K. Shonubi granted him bail in the sum of N10,000 with one surety. She later adjourned the matter.
