Stop Rumour Mongering, NASU Tells Members


The Chairman, Non-Academic Staff Union of Educational and Associated Institutions (NASU), Universities of Ilorin chapter, Mr. J. J. Bello, has said that rumour mongering is inimical to an organisation’s progress and urged his members to desist from peddling rumour on campus.

Bello gave this charge while inaugurating four NASU committees recently at the university’s Auditorium.

He disclosed that the purpose of empanelling the committees was to strengthen staff members and provide better services to the university community.

The committees are Labour Force chaired by Mr. Samuel Ehinmidun; Women in NASU headed by Mrs. Bisi Adeshina; Investment/Projects led by Mr. Olakunle Idowu Ojo and Welfare Scheme presided over by Mr. M. Olateju.

The inauguration was attended by some senior and past leaders of the union.
