KAI Dislodges Traders At Secretariat
Illegal traders operating at the Lagos State Secretariat, Alausa, Ikeja, have been given a quit notice by the state government.
The KAI Marshal General, Captain Danjuma Meigeri, retd, made this known to PMNEWS.
Danjuma warned the illegal traders and hawkers to move out of the secretariat with their illegal activities.
The KAI boss said the KAI brigade would not relent in carrying out its duties deligently in every part of the state, especially at the seat of power. He said the secretariat and its surroundings should be an example to other parts of the state.
“We wish to state clearly that as an outfit set up to combat illegal street trading and other acts that constitute environmental nuisance in the state, KAI brigade will henceforth arrest and prosecute any person or persons found guilty of street trading or hawking within the state secretariat premises, Alausa.
“KAI will not compromise on its status and code in the interest of the state,†Meigeri stated. —Paul Sanusi
