There are strong indications that fleeing members of the Boko Haram sect have threatened to bomb Jos, the Plateau state capital, after at least 3000 soldiers were deployed to dislodge them from Borno state.

P.M.NEWS learnt this afternoon that the threat was communicated to some prominent persons by some members of the sect, who are fleeing from Borno state and its environs after bombing the area several times.

Otunba Patrick Keku, Chairman of Pahek Security Company told P.M.NEWS on phone this afternoon that he received a call from one of his clients in Jos, asking him to run a quick security check on his guards on ground in Jos and some parts of the northern states.

According to Keku, the informant, who is a CEO of a Federal Government agency in Jos, told him that they received some phone calls yesterday and last night warning them to be careful as some run-away members of the sect were about entering Jos to wreak havoc on the people in the area.

Our sources in Jos told P.M.NEWS on phone that the threat is real as it has already sent panic down the spines of most residents of the city
