FRSC Loses Zakary Mohammed

Popular Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria, FRCN, broadcaster, Zakary Mohammed is dead. He died recently, though the cause of his death is yet to be ascertained.

Prominent Nigerians and his colleagues have been mourning him. Senate President David Mark described the late Mohammed as a quintessential, diligent and result-oriented broadcaster. Mark, who made the remark in a condolence message to FRCN in Abuja on Tuesday, described Mohammed as an ace broadcaster, fine gentleman and a reliable professional.

The Senate President said that Mohammed, who was until his death, the Deputy Director, Programmes of FRCN, contributed immensely to the growth of the media industry.

Mark said that Mohammed brought zeal, intellect and total commitment to his job.

“He was a fine gentleman and a reliable professional.”

The Senate President urged FRCN and the immediate family of the deceased to take solace in the fact that the broadcaster lived an eventful life worthy of emulation.

He noted that Mohammed would be missed, not just as a broadcaster of inestimable value, but as an ideal family man and a patriot who had great dreams and love for the nation.

Mark urged FRCN workers to remain steadfast and to uphold the fine attributes their late colleague left behind.
