Sylvia Nduka, an Accountancy undergraduate of the University of Lagos has been crowned the winner of the 24th edition of the Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria, MBGN, pageant held at the prestigious Eko Hotel and Towers in Lagos last Saturday.
Sylvia, the new queen from Anambra State, representing Taraba State, beat other beauties to emerge the official title holder of Miss MBGN World 2011 and she will represent Nigeria in the 2011 Miss World competition which is being held in London later this year. She also won the MBGN 2011 Best Traditional Costume prize.
With this, she also won the coveted prize of a brand new Hyundai car and a cash prize of N3million.
Other categories of winners are: Sophie Gemai (Miss Bayelsa) emerged the first runner up and became MBGN Universe 2011; Obioma Isiwu (Miss Enugu) MBGN Tourism 2011; Grace Ndam (Miss Lagos) MBGN Ecowas 2011; Tobi Banjoko (Miss Ondo) Miss Photogenic; Delphine Okobah (Miss Ebonyi) Miss Amity; Nwando Ebeledike (Miss Adamawa) Miss La Casera; Oluchi Okafor (Miss Kogi) MBGN 2011 Model and Gabriella Ndu (Miss Abia) MBGN 2011 Face of Select Pro.
