The Nigeria Customs Service’s newly appointed Area Comptroller of the Tin Can Island Command, Edike Charles recently took over the mantle of leadership.
In his valedictory speech, the immediate past Area Comptroller, Austin Warokoru, appreciated the team of Customs officers that contributed in the past 13 months to the success of his adminisratration.
He advised Customs officers in the command not to relent in giving their best to the service of their fatherland. Warikoru urged them to work hand-in- hand with the new Comptroller.
Responding, the new Area Comptroller, Edike wished his predecessor success in his new task and expressed readiness to live up to the challenge before him.
Edike counseled the Customs officers to double-up their efforts and live up to expectation in order to uphold the image of the command.
The former Area Comptroller is now head of the Nigeria Customs Intelligence Unit.
