The South East chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, yesterday rose from its zonal executive meeting at Nike Lake Hotel, Enugu demanding that the zone be allowed to complete its chairmanship tenure of the party as they are ready to produce a consensus candidate.

South East vice chairman of the party Olisa Metu stated this while briefing news men on the outcome of the meeting.

According to him, the demand is appropriate since both former national party chairmen of the party from the zone, Chief Vincent Ogbulafor and Dr. Okwesilieze Nwodo did not complete their various terms in office.
