If the deal still being discussed sails through, the management of 3SC, the darling team of soccer-loving people of Oyo State, may soon change hands.

A report from thestreetjournal.org early today revealed that an Ibadan-born Dublin-based businessman, Wole Arisekola, has offered to buy 3SC for N2 billion.

The journal said that a letter to that effect was sent to Governor Abiola Ajimobi through the Secretary to the State Government. The letter was said to have come from the office of Mr. Arisekola’s attorney, Ayo Olayinka & Co, Wuse II, Abuja.

3SC’s fortunes in the ongoing Nigeria Premier League have suddenly dwindled and analysts say the club may be relegated if care is not taken.

The team lost their last two home matches; the last one against Sharks of Port Harcourt was lost by a lone goal at the weekend, while they pulled a draw in their last away match.

3SC are also set to face Warri Wolves at Liberty Stadium tomorrow but feelers from the camp say if the players are not well motivated before their match, the “Oluyole Warriors” as the club is fondly called, may suffer yet another home loss.

Some of the players are being owed salaries for four months, while some are yet to receive their sign-on fees.

Public Relations Officer, PRO, of the club, Jubril Arowolo told P.M.Sports early today that his office has not heard the news, “but if anything like that happens, the public will be informed as soon as possible.”
