God’s Own People, popularly known as GOP will launch the debut album on Saturday 9 July, Showbiz Trends learnt.
The launch cum release party, according to their management, Shetade Images, will come up at the Metro Park on Isaac John Street, GRA Ikeja, Lagos. The album, a 13-tracker, is a potential hit as it has some of the best in the industry stamping their imprint on it. This includes tracks like Am Sorry featuring Ososensei; Kolo featuring ace producer Terry G; Nneobim with Clem P and I Wan Hammer among others.
The group, made up of three talented male singers —Ejike, Chidebere and Uche— in their own words promised to make the album launch a memorable one, and that their fans will never be disappointed when they finally listen to the album.
Already Terry G, Sheyman, Malaika, Ososensei and others have promised to attend the launch in order to make it a memorable one.
G O P won Global New Upcoming Artiste 2010 and performed at various concerts with the likes of 2face, Sound Sultan, Sheyman, Jaywon and others
