The Special Adviser to the Lagos State Governor on Central Business District, Mrs Derin Disu, has said that she is proud to be part of the current administration, adding that she is more than ready to serve.
Mrs Disu who stated this while speaking with Political Platform, also promised that the state should expect nothing but the best from her.
“It is a thing of pride to be part of the current administration in Lagos State. It is also an elevation for me to be invited to be part of this government.
“It is a thing of pride and joy for me. It is my desire to serve and I know that to be part of this government, you must be well prepared because it is a serious government and they expect nothing but the best from you,” she said.
Disu was the Secretary of Lagos Island Local Government from November 2003 to March 2004, and the chairman of the same local government from 2004 to 2007.
She was also the secretary of the local government from March 2007 to March 2008.
She did not seek re-election after the completion of her tenure but went back to private business as the executive vice chairman of T.A. Braithwaite Assurance.
A trained lawyer, Disu had her National Youth Service Corps, NYSC, at the office of Director of Public Prosecution in the 70’s.
