Several A-list Nollywood actors have confirmed their readiness to add spice and glamour to the Global Leadership Award for Excellence scheduled to hold on Sunday next week at Time Square Entertainment & Events Limited.
The award, which is being organised by the management of Global News magazine, promises to be the first of its kind, with an array of stars from movie, music, comedy and society scenes on parade.
According to the publisher of the magazine, Segun Ogunbunmi, the award is unique because it is aimed at celebrating those who have been quite outstanding in their various fields, adding that the ceremony, which will now be an annual routine, is also a way of giving back to the society.
“Within a very short period of existence, Global News magazine has made a remarkable achievement in the market as one of the very first soft-sell magazines to be reckoned with.
“Although we are not relenting on our oars over this laudable feat, we felt it is necessary for us to give back to the society and that is one of the reasons we are staging this award ceremony,†Ogunbunmi hinted.
