StarTimes Introduces Convenient Recharge System

In an effort to ensure that its subscribers pay their monthly subscription with ease, the management of NTA-STAR TV Network Limited, owners of StarTimes, have introduced three more convenient ways of recharging.

According to a statement signed by the Pay TV Advert and Publicity Manager, Mr. Celestine Umeibe, it became necessary to provide a convenient methods of recharging to enable subscribers make a choice on how they would want to pay their monthly subscription

“Having considered the challenges subscribers face in paying their monthly subscription via SMS, ranging from poor network service from their respective operators to delay in re-activation process and even recharge errors, it became neccessary to provide additional convenient methods of recharge.

“We want to make sure that our subscribers get the best of services at all times,ensuring that they can always watch their favourite programmes whenever they desire, without facing subscription challenges.”

Stating how the three options work, the statement said: “Apart from recharging via sms from mobile phones, subscribers who must have purchased the StarTimes recharge card from authorised dealers or outlets, can easily log on to the StarTimes website www.startimes.com.ng, and then click on the Customer Care. Subcribers should ensure they provide correct Smart Card number and enter the default password : 123456 for first time users who can also change the default password to a new six digit password of their choice. After which they click on “recharge card payment”, enter the 16 digit pin on their recharge card and then click on Recharge

“Subscribers can walk into any bank authorised by StarTimes to make direct payment for their monthly subscription.Subscribers should also ensure they provide adequate information such as Smart Card number on the teller and pay the right amount for the number of month(s) they wish to subscribe.

“In addition, subscribers can make payments through the services provided by “Quick Teller”. Subscribers can simply log on to www.quickteller.com, select the StarTimes subcription payment and provide adequate information.
